Restrictedfree agent forward, Nicolas Batum, will meet with the Portland TrailBlazers this Thursday or Friday in Portland, a league sourcesays.

Asa courtesy, Batum wants to hear the Trail Blazers' pitch before heproceeds to gauge the interest level of other teams, the same sourcesays.

Batumjust came off of a visit with the Minnesota Timberwolves inwhich he met with owner Glen Taylor, general manager David Kahn, andhead coach Rick Adelman. The source says, talks went great.

TheNew Orleans Hornets and Toronto Raptors are also team's he's expectedto visit later on. The Trail Blazers can match any offer Batum receives out on the market and offer sheets can't be signed until July 11.

Lastseason, Batum tallied career highs in points (13.9), rebounds (4.6),blocks (1.0), and steals (1.0).

Update:

I just got word Batum's two options at this point, are the Trail Blazers and the Timberwolves. He's focused on coming to an agreement with one of them and has postponed all other team visits.
