TheSpurs like him a lot and we feel comfortable about the opportunity,Andrews told CSNNW.com.

Brown,25, is coming off of his best professional season statisticallynotching career highs in points per game (8.1), rebounds (3.6),assist (1.0), steals (.7) and minutes (22.2) as a member of theCharlotte Bobcats.

TheNo. 40 overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Xavier, was extendeda qualifying offer in June by the Bobcats, making him a restrictedfree agent. However, three weeks later, the Bobcats withdrew theiroffer, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Initiallyduring the early stages of the free agency period, Brown wasentertaining overseas offers, but shied away from that as analternative in order to concentrate on landing an NBA job.

Brown worked out for the Spurs a couple of weeks ago and according to sources, he has a good shot to make it past camp.
