Jonny Flynn Agrees to One-Year Deal with Pistons

Freeagent point guard Jonny Flynn and the Detroit Pistonshave agreed upon a one-year non-guaranteed training camp deal, has learned.

The No. 6 pick in the 2009 NBA Draftout of Syracuse, played for the Houston Rockets and PortlandTrail Blazers during the 2011-12 season.

Flynnworked out for the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls,Cleveland Cavaliers and a few other teams not confirmed atthis time. Teams were wanting to see if Flynn has fully recoveredfrom the hip surgery he had two years ago.

Obviously,the Pistons are intrigued with what could be of Flynn. However, thePistons' backcourt is pretty much solidified with Will Bynum,Rodney Stuckey, and Brandon Knight on theroster.

Flynn, 23, has a career average of 9.2 points pergame, 1.9 rebounds, and 4 assist.
