Victor Claver has intentions of leaving Valencia Basketball and paying a 600,000 buyout to come play for the Portland Trail Blazers next season, according to @EmilovEscudero.
Major props to @The_Total_Pkg for the scoop.
The 6-9 forward was the team's 22nd overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. He's 23 years old.
Trail Blazers general manager, Neil Olshey, issues a statement regarding the status of Claver:
"Nothing new to report on our end. Both sides continue to have an interest in Victor coming over."
Update number two:
Claver tweets out a statement and CSNNW.com has the translation. He tweeted, " I read many news today about my immediate future. It is true that my agents are listening Blazers proposals and there is interest from both, but there is nothing official yet and B Valencia will be the first to know my decision when I make it."
