LA: Knew Cavs were tired, tried to run more
The Portland Trail Blazers win their third game in a row with an 108-96 win at home over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
LaMarcus Aldridge scored a game-high 32 points and pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds for Portland (29-8). He scored nine of Portland's final 12 points.
The point guard matchup didn’t disappoint. Damian Lillard finished with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists. Kyrie Irving ended the night with 21 points and four assist for Cleveland (14-25).
Wesley Matthews provided 15 points and four assists. As usual, Nicolas Batum flirted with every major stat, gathering seven points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out six assists.
Luol Deng had 25 points and six boards. Dion Waiters came off the bench and added 18 points.
Portland takes off tomorrow morning for their four games, in five nights road trip. Friday’s opponent is the San Antonio Spurs.
