Tualatin,Ore. - The Portland Trail Blazers went through practice as usual today, but without their Head Coach. Terry Stotts was at home sick and assistant Jay Triano was in charge for the day. Stotts is expected to coach tomorrow night vs the Miami Heat. LaMarcus Aldridge participated in a full practice today after missing yesterday's session to see a doctor about his sore right wrist that has been troubling him off and on. X-rays were taken during the doctor visit and they came back negative and a MRI confirmed it was a sprained right wrist. It's been nagging me and I took a little nasty fall at the end of regulation (Monday against Orlando) at then it was bothering me the whole overtime, Aldridge said. It was hurting pretty bad so I wanted to make sure I didn't hurt it anymore.

The All-Star power forward is officially listed as probable for tomorrow night's game, though he says he will play. Nolan Smith and Will Barton were recalled from the Idaho Stampede this morning and made it to practice after both played two games in the D-League Showcase in Reno, Nev. In those two games, Smith averaged 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists in 38 minutes a game. Barton averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists in 33.5 minutes a game. Every Trail Blazer, with the exception of Meyers Leonard (ankle) Elliot Williams (Achilles), is expected to be in uniform tomorrow night.
