Lillard: Defense on Harden and Gm2 Mentality

Update: The Portland Trail Blazers will actually distribute red LED glow sticks prior to Game 3 and 4 instead of Thunder Sticks, we've been informed. The picture to the right is what they'll look like.

HOUSTON -- When this first round series between the Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets moves to Portland for Game 3 on Friday, there will be no t-shirts issued to fans upon entering the arena, we’re told.

Meaning there are no redouts, whiteouts or blackout themes in store once the series reaches the Moda Center since the city of Portland has some of the most passionate, engaged fans that bring it on a night-to-night basis. There are currently three other playoff teams that are not participating in the t-shirt giveaway.

But the organization is distributing an item for all in attendance on Friday, we’re told. Red LED glow sticks will be handed out, which will make the Moda Center an even more polarizing environment to play at than usual. In addition, tons of Fan Fest activities will be positioned on the Rose Quarter campus for your pregame enjoyment.

The Rockets pulled out their red “This is H-Town” playoff t-shirts for the first two games of this series that had the entire Toyota Center drenched in bright red. The result? Portland is up 2-0.
