Michelle Obama shares her birthday today with Muhammad Ali and RFK Jr.  Besides giving UCLA a fit or two in tonight's game, that's about the only thing Coach Robinson has to celebrate tonight.

Oregon State fell 74-64. Beavers are 10-7 overall, they are now 0-4 in Pac-12. I can't even remember the last time they lost so many conference games in a row.

While it was a good game for Nelson and Burton, Ahmad Starks' poor shot selection cost him the numbers we usually see. He had just 5 points tonight.

To be fair, the Beavers started hot, and got UCLA off to a slow start. They were working it early, grabbing the lead up 12-7 with 15:44 remaining. Then OSU went cold. They made a few comebacks, but UCLA made sure they walked away with a win in the newly renovated Pauley Pavillion.

Officlal Game Notes:
LOS ANGELES -- Shabazz Muhammad scored 21 points, Kyle Anderson added 17 and No. 24 UCLA defeated Oregon State 74-64 on Thursday night, the Bruins' 10th consecutive victory.

Travis Wear added 17 points for the Bruins (15-3, 5-0 Pac-12), who equaled their longest winning streak since the 2008-09 season. They have won 23 of the last 24 games played against Oregon State on their home court.

Roberto Nelson scored 17 points and Joe Burton added 12 points for the Beavers (10-7, 0-4). They lost their fourth straight and fifth in their last six.

The Beavers had the upper hand in the game's opening minutes before the Bruins took over for good. Ahead by 11 at halftime, UCLA ran off 11 straight points early in the second half to take a 48-28 lead.
