Greg Oden's agent, Mike Conley, tells Yahoo! Sports Marc Spears Oden is now likely to wait until the offseason to sign with a NBA team.

Oden had previously been in contact with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat. The Cavaliers remain the front runners, according to NBC Sports, which makes sense, given that Oden is taking classes at Ohio State and is back in the area. Oden, who was selected first overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers, has played 82 games and is averaging 9.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Oden is still rehabbing from several injuries and hasn't played since 2009.
