So much for homecourt advantage. The Milwaukee Bucks handed the Portland Trail Blazers their season-high, fifth consecutive loss by defeating them 110-104 at the Rose Garden.
Brandon Jennings led the Bucks (21-18) with 30 points and eight assist. Ersan Ilyasova provided 27 points, 14 rebounds.
The Trail Blazers (20-20) were down 22 in the third quarter but did not quit. They ended the third on a 17-4 run topped off with a Damian Lillard three to ended the third. Going into the fourth they were down eight and chipped it all the way down to four with 44 seconds remaining in the game. However, that would be the closest they would come to pulling off the comeback.
Lillard led the Trail Blazers in scoring with 26 points and 10 assist. JJ Hickson picked up his 23rd double-double of the season – 15 points, 12 rebounds. LaMarcus Aldridge got into the double-double frenzy as well by finishing with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Wesley Matthews contributed 21 points. Luke Babbitt came off the bench to nail three three-pointers.
18 was the number of turnovers the Trail Blazers committed.
The Bucks Larry Sanders was ejected in the third for arguing that a foul wasn't called on his behalf.
