Lillard: Bad Night, Not My Worst ... Why?
ORLANDO – The Orlando Magic broke a 12-game losing streak by dominating the glass and attacking the paint in a 110-104 win over the Portland Trail Blazers at Amway Center.
The Magic (15-36) owned the boards, crashing for 50 to the Trail Blazers' 38.
LaMarcus Aldridge did his best to keep his team on the game leading the way with 21 points, six rebounds and five assists. Nicolas Batum scored 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists. Wesley Matthews provided 14 points.
Damian Lillard hit his first field goal at the 4:54 mark in the third quarter. He was 0-for-nine up to that point and finished the game with four points on one-for-16 shooting. He did add 12 assists.
The Magic led at the half 55-49. In their previous 12 losses, they have never been up after the first 24 minutes.
