The Phoenix Suns got off to a 12-0 start and never really looked back as they take this season series against the Portland Trail Blazers be defeating them 102-98 at the Rose Garden.
The Trail Blazers (25-29) have now dropped their sixth consecutive game. Before tonight's game, the Trail Blazers had a eight-game winning streak at home against the Suns (18-36).
Goran Dragic led the Suns with 16 points and a game-high 18 assists. 10 of Dragic's 18 assists came in the opening quarter. Luis Scola led the team in scoring with 18 points before fouling out.
JJ Hickson collected his 28th double-double of the season with 25 points and 16 rebounds. Damian Lillard provided 24 points and six assists. LaMarcus Aldridge added 23 points to go with five boards. Nicolas Batum put in 15 points and five assists.
The Trail Blazers' next game is in Los Angeles against the Lakers on Friday.
