LAS VEGAS – Former Portland Trail Blazers point guard Ronnie Price has reached an agreement with the Orlando Magic, a league source informed CSNNW.com.
The length of the deal is still being finalized, however Price will receive the veteran's minimum and at least one year guaranteed, according to the source.
Price, 30, played in 39 games for the Trail Blazers last season before being waived at the trade deadline to make room for Eric Maynor who was acquired via trade. For most of the season Price was hampered by a nagging ankle injury he sustained during the preseason.
I'm told he is completely healthy now.
The eight-year guard has a career average of 3.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.
