Portland, Oregon----The Portland State Vikings continued their losing ways on Saturday night at the Stott Center, losing their sixth straight Big Sky game at the hands of the Montana State Bobcats, 70-64, before 921 fans.

Portland State trailed by three points at the half and just could not overcome the Bobcats in the second half, despite an outstanding game from forward Renado Parker, who had 18 points and eight rebounds for the Vikings in defeat. Forward Flavien Davis played a great game for the Bobcats, finishing with 22 points, six rebounds and two assists.

With the win, Montana State goes to 7-5 in the Big Sky and the loss drops, Portland State to 3-9 and 5-14 on the season.

It was a bleak day for D-1 basketball in the state of Oregon, as the Oregon Ducks lost earlier in the day at California, followed by another poor performance from the Portland Pilots losing at St. Mary's 77-42.

It was the first time in several weeks that all of D-1 teams in the state of Oregon lost on the same day. Oregon State did not play today.
