Oregon freshman point guard, Dominic Artis will be out Saturday against Washington and for what could be three to six weeks, CSN has learned, with an injury to his foot.
The Register Guard first reported the news Friday evening saying Artis will be out indefinitely with "a foot injury of undetermined severity."
DuckTerritory reports “Artis may have a fractured foot and injured it two weeks ago.” CSN has not confirmed the report, and the UO has not commented further on the matter.
Artis has averaged 10.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game as a stand-out freshman.
Junior Johnathan Loyd will run point at Oregon as Artis recovers. Willie Moore will serve as back-up to Loyd, unless Altman chooses to rotate, shift his personnel further.
There is no new information to suggest that Artis would not be back before the final few games and the Pac-12 Tournament.
