Today is National Signing Day and CSNNW.com has provided mini-profiles on each member of the Oregon Ducks' 2014 recruiting class.

JIMMIE SWAIN

Position: Linebacker

Height/weight: 6-3, 229

Rivals.com star rating: 3-stars. Ranked 20th in the country among linebackers.

Hometown: Olathe, Ka.

High school: North.

Accolades: The first-team all-Sunflower League and Kansas City All-Metro first-team honoree had 92 tackles with 11 for loss and nine sacks.

UO coach Mark Helfrich said: "A great kid. Big, versatile guy. 6-3, 230sh. He’ll be an outside backer for us. Potentially play inside….Has the potential to help out immediately in a lot of ways, special teams or defensively. High character guy.”

2014 impact: Could provide depth as a freshman but likely could redshirt given that the Ducks have a ton of young linebackers and return three starters.
