Ifo Ekpre-Olomu: most exciting career game

Jason Passehl of CSN Houston has released his 2014 mock draft, and it has two familiar names on it. Juniors De'Anthony Thomas and Ifo Ekpre-Olomu are projected to be selected in the first round, according to Passehl.

His mock draft has the Houston Texans taking South Carolina defensive end Jadaveon Clowney with the first-overall pick.

Though their status is still very much up in the air and it hasn't been announced whether or not they will enter the NFL Draft, Thomas and Ekpre-Olomu are still creating a lot of buzz.

Here's how Passehl lists them:

15. San Diego Chargers: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon*
Another team in need of help in the secondary. Losing key members of their defense over the past few seasons, adding a playmaker like Ekpre-Olomu should be a necessity.

20. Arizona Cardinals: De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon*
The Cards need a game-changer on the offensive side. They took a flyer on Ryan Williams a few seasons ago, but along with a lot of their recent running back draft picks. He couldn't stay healthy enough to develop into an offensive option. Thomas has elite speed and elusiveness that has been giving opposing teams headaches since he's seen the field at Oregon.

A scout for the Chicago Bears told me earlier this year that he would love to see both Ekpre-Olomu and Thomas suiting up in a Chicago uniform, so time will tell.
