Stanford 82, No. 17 Oregon 80

Records: Ducks (13-3, 1-3 Pac-12), Stanford (10-5, 1-2).

High-flying Ducks: Forward Mike Moser had 24 points and five rebounds while making 8-of-14 shots, including 4-of-7 from three-point range. The Ducks made 12-of-22 three-point attempts.

Fowl play: Oregon committed 15 turnovers and allowed Stanford to shoot 52.6 percent from the floor. Oregon was out-rebounded 36-28 and 13-5 in offensive rebounds. Stanford's Anthony Brown had 24 points on 10-of-12 shooting.

Key sequence: Down 81-77, the Ducks pressed Stanford but allowed forward Josh Huestis to get wide open under the basket for a sure dunk. Or not. UO Forward Elgin Cook came flying in and blocked the dunk attempt. That led to fast break that ended with a three-point shot from the right corner by Dominic Artis that made the score 81-80 with 21.4 seconds remaining.

Play of the game: Oregon trailed 82-80 with 7.4 seconds remaining and Stanford's Chasson Randle at the line. He missed both and Oregon rebounded. Artis ended up with the ball, raced down court and had a good look on a drive but the layup didn't go in. That was the final play of the game.

Next up: Oregon is off until it plays at Oregon State on Sunday at 5 p.m.
