The Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers tipped off from Staples Center at 7:30pm on Tuesday night.
This game on Tuesday night is the first leg of a back-to-back for Portland. The Trail Blazers will host the Cleveland Cavalries on Wednesday night.
CJ McCollum continued his scoring tear. McCollum scored 10 points to led the Blazers in the first quarter.
Portland shot 47% as team, but trailed the Lakers by one, 26-25, after one quarter.
The Blazers outrebounded the Lakers, 14-11, in the first quarter.
Ed Davis saw some early minutes. In the first half, Davis scored two points and pulled down three rebounds in nine minutes of action.
To end the first half, the Blazers shot 51.2% as a team. The Lakers shot 47.6% from the field for the first half.
At the break, LA is up 57-55.
