The Portland Trail Blazers and Detroit Pistons tipped off at 6:00pm on Sunday night after the game had been postponed and rescheduled from Saturday to Sunday due to weather in Portland.
The Pistons got out to a quick 12-4 lead to start the game. But, the Trail Blazers charged back in the quarter and took a 15-14 lead after a Damian Lillard three form the corner midway through the first quarter.
To end the first, Portland shot over 73% as a team, while Detroit shot just over 62% from the floor.
Lillard had an efficient first quarter of play. The Blazers All-Star went 3-of-3 from the floor and 2-of-2 from deep to score 11 points in the first.
After one quarter, the Pistons held a one-point lead over the Blazers, 31-30.
Portland cooled off a bit in the second quarter and ended the half shooting 61.1%. Allen Crabbe had an impressive second quarter. Crabbe scored 17 points all in the second quarter after going 7-for-8 from the floor, The Pistons shot 51.2% for the half.
At the break, the Trail Blazers are up 56-53.
